The Great Minnesota Get Together...

First off, I apologies for the lack of pictures. Dan and I were able to get to the fair this year but only for a few hours (bummer). However, those few hours we were really able to "meet" some famous people.

Dan and Jay Leno. It was so great of him to take time out of his busy schedule and come to the State Fair. (I can't wait for him to be back in a few weeks!!!)

so the pharmaceuticals have been taking a hit these days... so Dan is living the dream!

Besides hitting up all the board cut outs we were able to spend some time in the Birthing Barn.

This calf is only a few days old

These little piggies were just a few hours old. They have the Mama in these cages for a week or so to ensure she does not lay on piglets and smother them. They were so cute; oh Charlotte's Web. Dan wanted to get a few pictures for his Mom to spark a few childhood memories of her days on the farm.

Finally, the cherished stop at Martha's Cookies. What would a trip to the State Fair be with out a few cookies. It still amazes me how long people will wait for these cookies!!!
