Chicago

I may only be two months old, but I got to go on a trip to the big windy city to see my Great Grandpa and Grandma. Before we went to visit them, my mom took me shopping downtown on Michigan Avenue. I sure did take it all in. I loved the lights and noise.

Getting ready to sleep in the tent
My friends Caz and Jax let me borrow their tent to sleep to in. Mommy was not sure how I would do, but I slept great!! Mom and Dad want to get one of these for traveling!!!

We did a lot of shopping while there and here I am on sled outside a Christmas store.

Finally, I got to meet my Great Grandpa and Great Grandma. They took us out for breakfast. I quickly warmed up to Great Grandpa.

While we were eating, my Great Aunt Kathy came to say hi. I was so excited to meet her!! I couldn't stop smiling at her. I can't wait to see her again and meet my great uncle !! She is one special great aunt!!

My mom was so glad that I got to meet my great grandparents and great aunt.

Visting Grandpa and Grandma

This past weekend we were able to pack up and head to South Dakota to visit Dan's parents. This was Colton's first trip to South Dakota and boy did we have fun!! Grandpa and Grandma had lots of fun things planned and Colton enjoyed every second of it! Colton got to experience his first pumpkin patch. Everyone was a good sport about taking pictures!

Getting Ready for Winter

The weather is starting to get a little chilly here.  We have been warning Colton about the cold weather MN has and got him a hat to stay nice and warm this winter.  We decided to model it off for everyone.

Next, we need to find him a snow suit that will fit him all through winter.

We have someone we would like to introduce

a few days after we brought Colton home
For years it seemed as though this day would never happen. However, TODAY is the day. Today is the day we get to introduce you to our son Colton Ray. He is our pride and joy! WE are so thrilled that today Colton became our son forever.

2 month photo

must have been a good dream

We welcomed him home on August 11th, 2011 and today, October 10th, 2011 he legally became our son forever. Dan and I often ask ourselves what we did with our time before Colton, there definitely was something missing. I love spending time with him and am trying to soak it all in. He has such a sweet demeanor. He is happy little guy and a smile that is contagious!! He is growing so fast!! Sometimes I find myself reminding him that he is only 2 months old and has plenty of time to grow up!
(he was 92% for height)

I am working on his birth story, so when that is done I will post it.
For now enjoy the pictures of our little man.
We are so in love.
God is good.

I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him.
