Digging Time will be here before we know it!
We just found out that they are expected to start digging our house towards the end of May. Time is flying by, before long we will be in our new home. Once the excitement starts we will post pictures.
We also have to choose all of our options for the house by MAY 7th! Exciting but lots to decide.
Hope you are all enjoying this great spring weather...FINALLY!!

Meet the new neighbors....

Just for fun... thought I would post some pictures of my parents new house and barn. We are excited to have them moving so close to us. They are expecting to move in late Spring/Early summer. They have 10 acres of land with several wet lands on them. My dad plans to have a apple orchard to keep him busy! You are all welcome to come out and check it out anytime you are in town, they would love to show you around!
Home-Site Pictures

A few weeks ago I promised pictures of our home-site and finally here they are! There is not a ton to look at yet but come October this will be the place to be!! We are lucky enough to over look a wetland (kind of hard to make out in the pictures) Our home is one of last homes built in this neighborhood. It will be nice to have a neighborhood that is established when we move in. Dan says he is excited to have the mailbox in front of our house (it's the little things I guess!) As always, we will keep you posted with updates.
And the color is.....
Our first major set of decisions have been made! We picked out all the exterior and structural options for our house yesterday. We are definitely starting to feel a little pressure with less than a month to make the rest of the decisions. There is still a lot to be done. I am sure that Dan and I will spend a few more hours at Home Depot, Menard's and the Design Center before all is said and done. We are getting excited and look forward to breaking ground to have more pictures to post and stories to tell. We will keep you updated as things advance.
