Update

The house is coming along very nicely. We keep finding ourselves going in it several times a week.So, needless to say it is fun to see how fast the progress has been these past few days. I think we are are finally letting the idea soak in that this is going to be our home and we are getting very excited!!

Some new things on the house include:

* Stone on the front of the house
* Most of the electrical, HVAC, and plumbing is complete (we even have our bath tubs in!!)
* Fireplace is in
* Windows and Doors installed (garage door will be put on at a later time)
* Front porch has been pored
* Roof is completed
* Framing is completed
* Island in kitchen has been built
* All the insulation has been installed

We had the pre drywall orientation and found out that our house will be done the first week of October. We will close on October 9th, if all continues to go well with the home and weather cooperates.

We spent some of the day at Home Depot and Menards looking over a few things we would like to do in the house once we move in to get a better idea of how soon we might need to order things to have them on hand in time. Lots of little things we still have to do before and once we move in. However, we are very much looking forward to it.
