Baby sister got hitched.

My little sister got married on Sept 6th. We were all in the wedding. Colton was all dressed up ready for his job as ring bear. I would love to tell you he was all smiles but folks, we are in the terrible 2s and he did let us forget that. He would NOT smile for any family pictures!! However, right before walking down the isle I did what any desperate mother would do... I pumped him full of the candy PEZ. It worked, he walked down the isle with our niece Alaena. However, shortly after walking down the isle the sugar rush ended and I had to hand him over the fence to Dan to quickly get him out of there!! It was an outdoor wedding and we had to act fast to ensure he didn't take away from his aunties moment of walking down the isle. Here are a few pics i snapped before the wedding. We are looking forward to seeing the professional ones!

Happy Gotcha Day!

It is hard to believe that we have been your Daddy and Mommy now for 2 years. You are truly a dream come true!! We feel so lucky to have you as our son. This year you had a special gotcha day because we were in Yankton, SD for a family reunion.  

When you woke up you got presents in bed. You always seem to love that!! 

That smile is going to make girls fall in love with you! 

We had family pictures with the entire Mach family.  Later that afternoon, Mommy and you went swimming and played. In the evening we went for ice cream cones and Daddy took you on your very first Go-Kart ride! You loved it!!  It was special because Grandpa &Grandma Mach, GG, John, Jennie, Ella and Lydia were all there!! 

I promise you were in there- look for your hair! 

Just in case we didn't get great family pics from the morning- you were not excited about having your pics taken. We took a few more to ensure we had some from this special day. 

You got excited about an airplane! 

We love you so much Colton and can not imagine our lives without you. You have such a fun personality! You always know what you want and have never been shy in ensuring you get it or at least try. You are adventurous- always trying new things. You are funny, smart and very affectionate with us. You were the missing piece in our family and fit perfectly!!

Florida

Its been so long since I have posted... Life is busy with a almost 2 year old and I am trying to be present for every minute of it!!! 

We were blessed to go on our first family vacation in April to Walt Disney World. We ALL had a great time. It is a magical place!!! 

Just seeing himself after getting his Mickey Ears- He was so excited!

Art Major??

We have a picasso on our hands!!  

We started to let Colton use markers and he LOVES it. At times he can be pretty intense while coloring.  After he was done I taped his picture on the fridge.  

He is VERY proud of it and goes up to it and says, "mine". 

Lucky for him, his mama also loves art!!

Don't judge the color on his face... he was creating :). 

Recycle

Colton has found a new appreciation for boxes. Who needs toys when you can sit and play in a box for hours? 

You can only imagine his horror when it's time to recycle them. 

YEE-HAW!

For Christmas, Colton's Great Grandma from Utah bought him his first cowboy outfit!! Colton seemed to enjoyed it and went around the house saying "YEE-HAW".  If I have anything to say about...he just might be the cutest cowboy ever!!!  All he needs now is a cowboy hat!!! --Maybe Dan will get to go to RCC western store after all!!
